Search for ear coverings for my dogs led me here. Didn't know exactly what I wanted, just something safe, durable and easy to use. Brand name didn't matter; quality and functionality did... Unfortunately, our larger dog's tall, pointy ears are not well suited for them, but they do easily fit the dog with long, lay-down ears. The adjustable Velcro strap holds firmly and doesn't feel like it will pop open.

Our pup is a designer mutt with a lot of herding bred into her. She's always hyper-focused on any sound or movement and has a hard time settling. Reducing her hearing seemed a reasonable and supportive solution, and this ear cover looked like a promising option. Easy to use and instantly calming. At $20 at the time of this review, this is a great value to us in that it provides much needed relaxation for our dog.

These ear covers worked very well for bathing my dog at home. They stayed in place easily with the velcro closure and kept all the water out of her ears even when I sprayed around the rest of her head. She didn’t seem to mind wearing them and it felt like they may have had a slight calming effect on her because she didn’t seem as anxious during her bath. I definitely recommend these for dry dog ears.

When I put this on my dog, he gets a little confused and tends to freeze, and gives me a most puzzled look, so we still have some training ahead of us. He is just under 15lbs and its does fit very nicely. He is an anxious pup and my hope is that eventually he will be comfortable to wear these during storms or fireworks, since he struggles with noise.

I got these ear covers for my husky mix because she is very sensitive to loud noises. Any booms in the neighborhood, fireworks, or ambulances terrify her. I put these on her the other day because emergency vehicles were rushing down the street. The ear covers were a good fit for her and were easy to use with strong Velcro.

Bath tub time has always been a major struggle in my house because my dog truly dislikes the water. I decided to try out this waterproof ear cover and I am happy to report that it makes the whole process much more pleasant, for both of us. The velcro closures made it very easy to put on her head even with a wiggly pet.

My dog hates baths but this helps make it better. Completely kept the water out of her ears, will be using it at the river this year. Will also be good to help muffle sounds that stress her out such as fireworks.

I have a Golden Retriever who is prone to ear infections, and bathing tends to make that worse if water gets in her ears. This has been a really effective tool for helping prevent that. The secondary benefit surprised me even more — leaving it on while blow drying. She seems much calmer.

One of the best things about this is that it prevents our labradoodle’s very hairy ears from getting absolutely soaked during bath time. This is great because she doesn’t like getting them blow-dried. Good buy all around.

My black lab hates riding in our side x side mostly due to the noise. I ordered the dog ear covers to suppress her hearing. As soon as I put it on her, she became drowsy. She laid down on her pet bed and her eyes started to close. I hope the ear cover calms her down to enable her to enjoy riding with us.

My dog thinks she looks so beautiful in these fancy ear covers. They will be perfect for keeping water out of her ears when I give her baths! They stay on fairly well, too.

This thing worked amazingly well to keep water out of my collie’s ears during her bath! And she did not mind it either. You could also use this to keep long ears out of the food dish as well.
